For technical support companies, teamwork and solid relationships with clients is paramount.   In 2009 we launch Gennix Consulting Inc. to build on these core values as a merger of Novatek Networks Inc. and Iodea Technologies.   The goal of this merger is to provide superior support to our combined customer base and leverage our collective strengths as we grow. 

Novatek Networks Inc. is a technical support company that was formed in 2006 to serve primarily the medical community with a focus on implementing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions.

Iodea Technologies began operating in 1997 to meet  the IT needs of government contracted employment support programs in the Lower Mainland.  In the subsequent 12 years it has also provided support services to companies in retail, construction and real estate.

Profile: Erik Edge

Erik Edge has expertise in management and computer technical skills, specifically focusing on small and medium sized businesses in aiding them implement their business plans. His passion for designing computer networks, and providing solutions to allow customers to leverage a technology advantage is providing small business with the tools they need to get the job done. He is currently focusing on aiding medical offices in BC implement Electronic Medical Record solutions.

Erik Edge has worked in the Computer industry for over 10 years for various clients, from small businesses to large corporate customers. He has gained experience working for customers in both South Africa and Canada, including the following:
Vodacom  - a national cellular communications provider in South Africa.
Liberty Life - a national insurance company in South Africa
PeopleSoft - a global software company - based in the Vancouver office.
Oracle - a global software provider of database and business application software - based in the Vancouver office.

Profile: Ren Giesbrecht

Ren Giesbrecht began his computer consulting company over 12 years ago to meet the IT needs of businesses in the employment counseling sector.  He has worked closely with these companies to develop and improve their IT infrastructure.  Over that time he has developed other business relationships with companies in retail, construction and real estate.

Ren Giesbrecht has developed custom software solutions to meet specific business needs for companies in various sectors.  This development work has allowed him to gain a deep understanding of the clients' business model.

When not busy working on IT issues, Ren enjoys spending time with his wife and exploring life afresh through the eyes of his three young children.
