POSITION: HELP DESK ANALYST

We are seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join our dynamic and expanding business team. You will be providing first level remote technical support to our customers. Office based position with regular hours with occasional local travel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A friendly and professional phone manner, upbeat personality
- Good verbal and written communication skills essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues
- Patience and professionalism in dealing with broad customer base
- Ability to follow technical and company support standards and policies
- Troubleshooting skills essential for hardware, software and networking issues
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize support cases
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to utilize ticket system efficiently
- Attention to detail, keeping accurate records and documentation
- Access to a vehicle is recommended
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Must be current resident of Canada and authorized to work in Canada
- 1+ year experience in an IT support position
- Experience with Microsoft applications and operating systems: Windows XP/Vista/Win 7 and Windows Server 2003/8
- Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively
- Experience in remote support of computer systems with an understanding of how TCP/IP networks work
- Microsoft based certifications a strong asset
